A short drive from City Center Cork there are many little sea towns. I recommend visiting at least one of these towns when in Cork. We popped into the sea town of Bantry one afternoon.

The walk along the water is a relaxing way to enjoy an afternoon. You can take a break from the scenic views by stopping in at the local craft shops that offer locally made jewelry, art, and woolen wears.

We stopped in for lunch at O’Connors Seafood Restaurant. The service at this restaurant was impeccable and the food was wonderful. When we stopped in it was later in the afternoon so the restaurant was pretty empty which allowed for a bit of chatting with the waitstaff.
