Singapore

In 2012 I had the opportunity to take a three-week tour of Asia. The first stop on the tour was the sovereign city-state island country Singapore. Located just 85 miles north of the equator, Singapore doesn’t have much of a cold season so, if you are planning a trip prepare for heat and humidity.

The country’s position as one of the largest commercial hubs in the world has resulted in a diverse culture influenced by many parts of the world. I spent several afternoons strolling through Chinatown and Little India sampling their cuisine.

The cityscape photographer in me instantly fell in love with the unique architecture of Singapore, which blends old world traditional with modern futuristic. Check out some of the images I captured.
