Liverpool – Beatles Tour

Liverpool is most famously known, as the hometown of the Beatle and from what I understand it is the mecca for all Beatles fans. We made a day trip taking the 7:00 AM train from London and arriving in Liverpool by 9:30 AM. Liverpool is a must see for Beatles fans of course however, I would also recommend Liverpool for fans of architecture and history.

My strong dislike of typical tourism turned me away from the large tour bus options and sent me on a search for a more unique option. My search led me to the Fab 4 Tours. The tour is done in an English style taxicab and was perfect for our group of 5. We booked the 5-Hour Hardcore Tour + Casbah which included a short break for lunch. The Casbah is a separate tour (15 pounds per person, bring cash) and confirmed by my resident Beatles fan as – completely worth adding on.

Danny our tour guide brought the story of the Beatles to life by putting it into historical context and sharing stories that gave meaning to the history. I personally enjoyed that we didn’t just spend the day riding around in a taxicab, we were able to get out, explore and my favorite take pictures.
