Day 282 in New Zealand: The Rose Garden at Hagley Park

The roses are in full bloom in the Central Rose Garden at Hagley Park and it is a sight to see. It feels a bit strange to see flowers blooming in November so I keep having to remind myself that it is Springtime here in the Southern Hemisphere.

This rose garden has been in place since the early 1900s and is home to over 250 varieties of roses. Did you know there were so many varieties of roses?
